She is also a fellow of Hawthornden, Yaddo, MacDowell, and the Eugene O\u2019Neill National Playwrights Conference.<\/p>\n She has been a reporter for the Los Angeles Times and has written for the Washington Post, Maclean\u2019s, and the Economist Intelligence Unit, among others.<\/p>\n She is the author of Making the World Safe for Tourism<\/em> (Yale University Press, 2001), Aaronsohn\u2019s Maps<\/em> (Harcourt, 2007), and Interlock: Art, Conspiracy, and the Shadow Worlds of Mark Lombardi<\/em> (Counterpoint, 2015).
